I'm posting this a few months in advance to see if we can create the biggest Midwest war to date. We're trying to rival Armageddon and Apocalypse. I'd be happy to get half as many.

When:

Saturday, April 17rd, 2009 - 10:00 AM - exhaustion, or around 5-6 PM
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. First round start at 10:00 AM.

Lake Ellyn Park
645 Lenox Road, Glen Ellyn, IL

What to bring:
-Your "A" game
-A good attitude
-At least one primary, preferably two if your's breaks.
-Spring powered single-shot pistol.
-Darts, a lot of them
-Eye Protection, if you're not wearing any, you don't play
-Lunch and water. There are a few places within driving distance in downtown Glen Ellyn. However it would be much easier to bag a lunch.
-Proper attire. I don't want to see some douche bags showing up in camouflage or I will personally beat you down and tell you to leave. It's also going to be April, which can be cold/rainy sometimes. Dress appropriately.

What not to bring:
SLINGSHOT WEIGHTED DARTS
-Only Slug darts, single BB, or stock darts are allowed. No exceptions. Breaking this rule will result in you never nerfing with us again.
-Pump plugged 4B's, LBB's, Nat Geo blasters, Titans or Signal launchers.
-Homemade air guns
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black will be tossed in the lake. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Anyone under the age of 13 will not be allowed to play. Mainly because I don't like children and legality issues.

Miscellaneous Information:
-Only shields that will be allowed are Manta's and Crossfire shields. Anything else will count as a hit. Gun hits do count.
-Barrel tapping is allowed, only if you have the gun loaded with a dart and primed. Cover your brass barrels!
-If you are being a douchebag I will ask you to leave.
-Please clean up after yourselves, we will be in a public park.
-Melee weapons will be allowed all gametypes except for Team Powerball and Defend the Core. Oversized melee shit will be banned. Use common sense, this is a Nerf war.
-Please refrain from yelling obscenities, we do not need the attention.

Round Schedule:
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. We will go over basic rules and safety. We will begin playing at 10:00. If you're not there and ready to go at 10:00, you'll miss the first round.

10:00 AM - Team Deathmatch

11:00 AM - Capture the Flag and variants

12:00 PM - Dart Sweep

12:15 PM - Lunch Break

1:00 PM - Multi-Team Deathmatch

2:00 PM - Team Powerball - Best of 3 rounds, 10 minutes each (rules will be posted)

3:00 PM - Dart Sweep

3:15 PM - Defend the Core - Best of 3 rounds, 10 minutes each

4:30 PM - Wingman

5:00 PM - Whatever we feel like/dart sweep

BEFORE YOU LEAVE - Clean up all your shit and help pick up darts.

I don't want to lose the priviledge of nerfing at this location by littering the park with nonbiodegradable foam. Same thing goes with trash. I'm going to bring garbage bags to set up near the staging area. Please be courteous. We have several backup locations if we need to move.
